Peter

I regret to have to announce that our friend Peter Vlach, who played one of our henchmen in the hallways of the now-defunct Naval Language Institute, was lost at sea off Japan late last month. Besides helping us out with our film, Peter was also a fine musician, a great traveller and, despite being one of our “bad guys” in the film, one of the true good guys. Even when he was pretending to shoot the other actors, he just couldn’t stop smiling.

Rest in Peace, Peter.

  1. Very sad news. I only met him a couple of times but he seemed like a good guy. My best wishes go out to Peter’s family and friends during this difficult time.

  2. I am utterly shcoked and saddened when I got his family’s group email about his memorial today and it’s the first time I heard anything about him since the last time I saw him in last September. I don’t know what to say.

  3. i heard this past weekend, and am still in shock.

he was one of the most amazing people i have ever known, and wish that we had been able to keep in contact more in the past few years.

    blessings.
